Meet The Owner
Hi, I’m Chanaya Brooks, owner and lead coordinator of Storybook Weddings & Events.
Originally from Philadelphia (Go Birds!), I moved to Greensboro to attend North Carolina A&T State University, where I graduated in 2022. Shortly after graduating, I founded Storybook Weddings & Events and officially began taking clients in 2023.
I’ve always loved helping others, being creative, decorating, and solving puzzles; which naturally led me to wedding coordination. When I’m not helping couples bring their vision to life, you can usually find me watching anime, spending time with friends, sightseeing, or hanging out with my two chunky kitties! My goal is to make the planning process feel smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free while creating weddings that truly reflect each couple’s unique story.
